Brighouse Boogie Woogie

£180.00

Brighouse Boogie Woogie Is part of my In Passing collection. I took the photograph at Brighouse station, West Yorkshire in February 2020.

The title, and the composition, are inspired by Piet Mondrian’s paintings. Unlike the vibrancy of his work, the palette I found on the station platform is appropriately subdued. My work meanders through modalities and this image exemplifies how my reference points are as likely to be paintings as much as prints, or other imagery. The graphic nature of this image has led to the ideas influencing designs for prints too.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta.

Print image size: 44.5 x 25 cm

Natural white passe-partout 7cm surround on all sides,

Outer size matt black wood frame: 62.2 x 42.7 cm

The print is part of a limited edition of 25 and comes with signed certificate of authentication
